Frequently asked questions
Is my file sent to a server?
No. In the default mode everything happens in your browser: the PDF never leaves your device. The optional “advanced” mode, meant for scanned PDFs, does use our server — it says so clearly, and the file is processed in memory then deleted immediately.
Do all PDFs give a good result?
The tool works best on PDFs with real, aligned tables. Numbers are turned back into computable values; free-flowing text is placed line by line.
One page = one sheet?
Yes, each PDF page becomes a separate sheet in the Excel workbook.
