Acceptance of the terms
By accessing PDF Master and using its tools, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms of Use and accept them without reservation. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Service description
PDF Master is a free PDF tool suite, with no sign-up or account. All processing (merge, compress, sign, OCR, etc.) runs entirely in your browser: no file is transmitted to a server.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site in accordance with the law and not to use it to process unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others. You are solely responsible for the documents you process and for how you use the results.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The publisher does not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted, nor the absence of file loss or alteration. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from use of the site. Always keep a copy of your original files.
Intellectual property
The source code of PDF Master is distributed under an open-source license. The files you process remain entirely your property: the publisher never accesses them and claims no rights over them.
Personal data
PDF Master collects no personal data. The details of this (non-)processing are described on the Privacy page, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
Changes to the terms
The publisher may amend these Terms at any time. The applicable version is the one published on this page at the time of your use; the last-updated date is shown at the top of the page.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the French courts.
