Frequently asked questions
Is my file kept on the server?
No. The PDF is processed in memory during conversion and deleted immediately afterwards. It is never written to disk or logged.
Will the layout be identical?
The text is faithfully rebuilt into editable paragraphs. Complex layout (columns, images, exact fonts) may differ slightly, because the goal is an editable document.
Why isn't this tool 100% offline like the others?
Faithful Word conversion needs server-side processing. It's the only kind of tool on the site that sends your file — we say so plainly and delete it right away.
